Demand for workers in good-paying construction jobs remains strong. 的 Highway Construction Careers Training Program (HCCTP) is a great path to a rewarding career with a variety of building trades.
Recent HCCTP graduates have become apprentices as laborers, 水泥石匠, 钢铁工人, 水管工, plasterers and electricians.
A new HCCTP session begins Monday, Feb. 26 with instruction and hands-on training 36 hours per week for 13 weeks.
Interested students 必须 attend an orientation. Choose from these sessions:
- 周二,1月. 9 – 10 a.m.
- 周二,1月. 16 – 6 p.m.
- 周四,1月. 18 – 10 a.m.
- 周二,1月. 23 – 10 a.m.
- 星期五,1月. 26 – 2 p.m.
Eligible candidates must be 18 or older, have a high school diploma or GED®, have a valid driver’s license, be interested in the construction trades, 远离毒品.
Like apprenticeships in the building trades, the HCCTP is “earn while you learn.” 的re is no cost to students accepted into the program. 学生 receive a stipend of $10 per hour.
